"Likes to draw."  This was the note sent home with me on my first day of Kindergarten. The passion to create art has remained with me to this day.

In 2004, I also took up painting, starting with oils (I had never painted before). In 2008, I added acrylics to my painting mediums. My subjects include portraits of beloved pets, water scenes, and nature in general. 

A native of Durham, North Carolina, I've made Raleigh my home since 1994, where I live with my husband Rob and our menagerie of pets.

Exhibitions: The Colony Theatre, Raleigh, NC - 2007, and Earthfare Foods, Raleigh, NC, - 2008.

Notable Mentions: Portrait of Princess Diana published in the book "Diana in Art" - 2007.

Juried accepted entry into the North Carolina Museum of Art event "Art of the Auction" - 2013.
